Baltic State Technical University “VOENMEH” named after D.F. Ustinov is a bright representative of the Russian school of engineering, who managed to preserve and multiply the achievements of the national and world engineering and technical education. Confirmation of this is our alumni, pride and glory of Voenmeh. Voenmeh ranks among the first universities in Russia for the success of graduates.
During its long and glorious history, Voenmeh has trained more than 70,000 qualified engineers for the domestic defense industry. The main designers of weapons, ammunition systems, directors of defense enterprises, prominent party and state figures, cosmonaut pilots came out of the walls of the university. Today, many of them are at the helm of enterprises, firms, design bureaus, head scientific teams. Our graduates have not only high professional qualifications, but also creative potential – qualities that allow them to learn new areas of knowledge, create new technologies and be in demand in different fields of activity.
Modernity poses new challenges to the higher school, first of all – integration into the world educational space. We are not on the sidelines of these processes. Our partners are the universities of Norway, China and France. Student Accommodation
Students usually stay in bedroom for two or three and share facilities like bathrooms and kitchen facilities, although some institutions may provide apartment-style rooms with private bathrooms and kitchenettes. All utilities (electricity, gas and water) are included in the fees, and internet access is usually provided in each room, which is free of costs.
