Bashkir State Agrarian University is one of the leading agricultural universities in Russia. It is also the only city connected with Moscow by two federal highways. The southern outskirts of the city is crossed by the highway M5 “Ural” and the federal highway M7 “Volga” ends here. Urban transport is represented by trams, trolleybuses, buses, minibuses, taxis.
