Samara State Transport University is the largest university complex of the Volga region, training specialists of high and middle management not only for transport, but also for other sectors of economy.

The dormitory has a perfect location: grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants with Russian and international cuisine are within walking distance. All city attractions, museums, theaters, historic places are either within walking distance or easy transportation from the dormitory.

The dormitory is a corridor-type residential building with shared facilities. One rooms usually accomodates three or four roommates. Entrances to the building are equipped with video surveillance and security posts.
Samara (Kuybyshev in 1935-1991) is a large city in Russia, the center of the Volga economic region and the capital of the Samara region, standing on the left high bank of the Volga River, in the place of its confluence with the Samara River (hence the name of the city). There are over 150 large and medium industrial plants in the city. About 25% of all bearings and 70% of all cables produced in Russia are made in Samara.
Samara is one of the biggest transport hubs in Russia, crossed by the shortest ways from Central and Western Europe to Siberia, Central Asia, and Kazakhstan.
