Voronezh State Technical University is the flagship university of Voronezh region which combines educational, scientific, staff and technical capacity of the two leading technical universities in the region: Voronezh State Technical University and Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Today, Voronezh State Technical University is a modern scientific, academic and technological institution that offers higher education programs as well as further and advanced training for professionals working at industrial and construction enterprises and organizations of the region. 20 000 students are currently studying at the university, including international students from 57 countries of Asia, Africa, South America, Middle East and CIS. Student Accommodation
Two modern hostels are available for students with dormitory-type rooms for two (single rooms are available at additional cost). The hostel is connected with the University by a direct metro extension (normally it takes about 25 minutes to get to the University).
A great number of shops with high quality food, both home-produced and imported are available in Voronezh. At the University there are a canteen and a cafe where you can have a lunch for a reasonable price. You can also visit more expensive restaurants and try international cuisine. Furthermore, students can cook their specialties by themselves in the hostel.

Voronezh is a city in the European part Russia, the capital of the Voronezh region, situated on the banks of the Voronezh water reservoir (the Voronezh River), about 520 km south of Moscow. It is a cultural, industrial and scientific center of the region.
