The Institute of Economics and Service is a modern institution that carries out multi-level training of personnel in the areas of economy, design, food industry, light industry, ecology and tourism. In the educational process, innovative technologies of teaching and scientific achievements are actively used. Students practice at leading enterprises, have the opportunity to participate in research, in international, Russian and regional scientific conferences, symposiums and seminars. The institute implements training programs for specialists in such modern areas as financial engineering, virtual environment design, environmental engineering, economic and legal support for economic security, brand management, the production of chemical fibers and composite materials, and others. Particular attention is paid to the training of people with disabilities. The IES carries out multidisciplinary training of personnel in the specialties and areas of training of higher professional education (bachelor’s and master’s), retraining and advanced training of personnel on a wide range of additional professional education programs. In 2015, the university received a Grand Prix of the Republican contest of educational organizations of higher education and professional educational organizations “GOLDEN SOVA” at the XV specialized exhibition “Education. The science. Career”.

Dorms consist of eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. Students cannot select their own rooms. We encourage students to apply early, as the number of rooms are limited. Some students may not be comfortable with dorm rules, as they are often considered strict.

Ufa is a large transport hub of Russia. The Trans-Siberian Railway runs through the city. Ufa International Airport offers regular flights to Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, St. Petersburg, Barcelona, Beijing, Istanbul and a number of others.
It is also the only city connected with Moscow by two federal highways. The southern outskirts of the city is crossed by the highway M5 “Ural” and the federal highway M7 “Volga” ends here. Urban transport is represented by trams, trolleybuses, buses, minibuses, taxis.
