Troitsk Aviation Technical College

Troitsk Aviation Technical College is a branch of Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation in Troitsk. Troitsk Aviation Technical College is one of the largest educational institutions of Russian civil aviation. The Trinity Aviation Technical College was established in 1947. At present Troitsk Aviation Technical College is modern educational complex, it has four academic buildings, two dormitories, a dining room, library with large reading room, three gymnasiums and a club for three hundred people. The college is located in the city center. The training sessions in Troitsk Aviation Technical College are held in well-equipped classrooms and laboratories. Classes are conducted in 28 departments with 410 highly qualified teachers. Over the years the college has trained more than 26,000 young professionals who work in virtually all civil aviation enterprises of Russia.

The dormitory is a corridor-type residential building with shared facilities. One rooms usually accommodates three or four roommates. Entrances to the building are equipped with video surveillance and security posts.

Troitsk City

Troitsk is a town in Troitsky Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia, located on the Desna River 37 kilometers (23 mi) southwest from the center of Moscow on the Kaluzhskoye Highway. Population: 39,873 (2010 Census); 32,653 (2002 Census); 29,301 (1989 Census)

Troitsk was first mentioned in 1646 as a settlement of Troitskoye. It was renamed Troitsk and granted town status in 1977. Until July 1, 2012, it was a part of Moscow Oblast but was transferred to Moscow’s jurisdiction along with other territories in the southwest.

On July 1, 2012 Troitsk was transferred to the city of Moscow and became a part of the newly established Troitsky Administrative Okrug.
